How do you price your work?

Flat project fees, agreed in writing before work begins, based on the complexity of the application. Retainers are available for ongoing calendars. We never charge a percentage of the award — that's prohibited by federal rules and against professional ethics standards.

How long does a proposal take?

Most full proposals need three to six weeks from kickoff to submission. Federal applications with subrecipients or community engagement requirements need eight or more. We can sometimes take rush work at a premium, but we'll tell you honestly if a deadline is too tight to be competitive.

What's your success rate?

About 68% of the proposals we submit are funded, against a sector norm closer to 25%. That number partly reflects the fact that we decline to submit applications we don't think can win — declining bad-fit opportunities is part of the service.

What do you need from us?

A point of contact who can answer questions within two business days, your program and financial documents, existing evaluation data, and roughly four to six hours of staff time across the project for interviews and reviews. Our Grant Readiness Checklist lists everything up front.

Do you guarantee funding?

No, and neither can anyone honest. Funding decisions belong to the funder. What we guarantee is a compliant, competitive, on-time submission and a clear read on your odds before you spend a dollar.

Do you only work with Fresno and San Joaquin County clients?

We're based in Fresno and know San Joaquin Valley funders deeply, but we work with clients nationwide. Everything runs over video calls and shared documents.

Can you help after the award?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Post-award reporting and compliance is one of our core services — reporting calendars, interim and final reports, drawdown tracking, and audit-ready files.
